One more International Mines Rescue Conference (IMRC-2021) that took a place in Australia, is over.

The two-day conference was held on a specially designed virtual platform, a fully integrated video system, included colorful and informative speaker presentations, live Q&A with industry leaders, interaction with global sponsors, and unique networking opportunities.

"IMRB-2021" provided real-time simultaneous interpretation in five languages, and conference participants had the opportunity to hear world-class mine rescue speakers in English, Spanish, Polish, Russian and French languages.

At a conference on September 8, with a report «Training and competition rescuers - developments and innovations», representing rescue services of the Republic of Kazakhstan made by Acting Chairman of «Emergency rescue services association of the Republic of Kazakhstan» LEA - Kravchenko Vladimir.

The Queensland Mine Rescue Service, as a host of the conference, successfully managed the event at a very challenging time. The conference organizers received only positive feedback from participants, who said it was a valuable forum for information sharing. Although they were not able to attend in person, they had the opportunity to address issues and share knowledge.

The IMRB has come a long way in its 20-year history, and thanks to the efforts of the IMRB's mine rescue teams, conditions for effective rescue of miners have improved significantly.

There is no doubt that due to the efforts of mine rescuers all around the world a large number of lives have been saved, and the ability of mine rescuers to respond the emergencies has been improved.

But the mission of the IMRB mine rescuers is not over; they must provide continued good work together in the future.

At a meeting of the Board IMRB, September 6, was considered an application for membership in the IMRB of «Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan» LEA.

By direct vote and by a majority of votes «Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan» LEA became a full member of the International Mine Rescue Organization - International Mines Rescue Body (IMRB) and issued a certificate.



Membership in IMRB will allow the «Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan» LEA to be a link between IMRB and mine rescue services of the Republic of Kazakhstan, be a provider of ideas and implementation of plans to create a modern, technological, highly professional of mine rescue services, maintaining an appropriate image of the «Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan» LEA and the Republic of Kazakhstan at the international level.
