Summing up the results of the LEA "Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan" for the first half of 2022.
During the reporting period from January to June 2022 LEA "Emergency Rescue Services
Association of the Republic of Kazakhstan" (hereinafter - the Association) has done some work
on the implementation of the activities plan for the current year.
Attracting new members of the Association
During the period, we continued to attract new members to the Association and at present
time the Association includes all of them in its membership:
the largest operators on the market of rescue and firefighting services in the Republic of
Kazakhstan;
the world's leading manufacturers of rescue equipment and gear;
experts with extensive professional experience in the field of emergency services, fire and
industrial safety.
Work with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan
In the process, as part of the "Expert Council of Private Enterprise" under the Ministry of
Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter - MES RK) specialists of the
Association, in close contact with the staff of MES RK participated in the discussion and
adjustment of regulations governing the activities of emergency and rescue and fire
departments, industrial and fire safety issues at hazardous industrial facilities in various
industries, under the approved Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the safety and fire
prevention of hazardous industrial facilities.
Interaction with government agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan and non-profit
organizations
During the period, there was active correspondence with government and non-profit
organizations:
with the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
with the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
with the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan "Atameken"
and others.
International cooperation
The Association closely cooperates with various international organizations:
DEZEGA (Ukraine) - one of the world's largest developers and manufacturers of closed-
circuit mine-rescue equipment;
International Mine Rescue Organization "IMRB" (International Mines Rescue Body
(Canada), under the auspices of which this September will be the 12th International Mine
Rescue Competition "IMRC-2020", held by the National Academy of Mine Safety and Health
(MSHA) in Beckley, West Virginia, USA.
The organizers of the competition in the period from 11 to 16 September 2022 plan to
attract more than 20 teams from 12 countries where there is an active mining.
Funding the Association
The Association's activities are carried out within the framework of the concluded cooperation
agreement with the members of the Association, and its funding is based on the entrance and
annual membership fees. All members of the Association are included in the pool of members "
of good standing", i.e. they perform their duties in good faith, including the payment of
membership fees.
Results
The Association's fulfillment of its plans makes it possible to maintain sufficient interaction
and cooperation both within and outside the Association.
