December 8, the two-day Virtual VISION ZERO Summit by International Safety Conference concluded, hosted by International Mines Rescue Body (IMRB) associate member of International Social Security Association Mining (ISSA Mining).
The ISSA Mining Board and ISSA Mining Advisory Council hosted the first VISION ZERO
Virtual Summit - the most important safety event in the mining industry.
The virtual forum was a unique opportunity for experience sharing, learning and networking
for mining safety leaders and professionals.
The online conference was held on December 7 - 8, 2021, and the language of
communication at the conference was English.
The following topics were discussed by high-level speakers:
- The future of prevention in mining industry
- VISION ZERO leadership perspective
- How to develop VISION ZERO competencies for the future of mining?
- Innovation and best practices in the industry
- Responsible mining in VISION ZERO
In addition, the conference program honored and listened to the winners of the
International Lime Industry (ILA) First Health and Safety Awards in the Culture of
Prevention, Technology, Health Prevention and New Risk Special Award categories.
The conference was attended by full and associate members of the International Mine
Rescue Organization - IMRB.
Mine rescue work is the most dangerous work associated with mining. As safety
professionals, IMRB members must ensure that they are performed effectively.
Achieving tasks without harm is the ultimate goal of mine rescue services around the world.
On behalf of the LEA " Emergency Rescue Services Association of the Republic of
Kazakhstan" (hereinafter - Association) - a full member of the international mine rescue
organization (IMRB), the Acting Chairman of the Association - Vladimir Kravchenko took
part in the conference.
