The International Mines Rescue Organization “International Mines Rescue Body” (IMRB) has announced another International Conference of Mine Rescuers “IMRB-2023”, is scheduled to be held in South Africa in October 2023.

The theme of the conference is “Execute Today | Effect Tomorrow” which will bring together mine rescue leaders and specialists of mountain rescue services from around the world, as well as leading equipment manufacturers and sponsors.

Members of the mine rescue community will have the opportunity to share knowledge and experience with hundreds of colleagues from around the world.

The conference programme as before will include colourful and informative speaker presentations, direct Q&As with industry leaders, interaction with global sponsors and unique networking opportunities.

In addition, IMRB-2023 will coincide with the 100th anniversary of Mines Rescue Services South Africa and in this regard, it is planned to hold celebrations on the occasion of this anniversary.



The conference will be held on October 1-5 October 2023 at the Sun City Conference Centre in the Pilanesberg National Park, 130 km north-west of Johannesburg.

The Association of Emergency Rescue Services of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as an active member of IMRB, has been invited to participate in the 11th International Mountain Rescue Conference “IMRB-2023”.
